[How to script] Variables - PART 1

What are variables?

The variables are basically just names/simbols which hold a value

To create them you have to use 'new', 'static' or 'const' (you can also use 'new const').

new x = 0
const x = 0
static x; x = 0;
// or
static x
x = 0
new const x = 0

What's the difference between 'new', 'static' and 'const'?

When you create a variable with 'new', the variable can be changes afterwards.

When you create a variable with 'static', you can only set the value after you created it, you can't set it when you create it. (Shown in the example above)

When you create a variable with 'const', you can only set the value when you create it and can't be changed afterwards.

How many types of variables exist?

Regardless of the way you create it, there are 6 types:

- Float Variables, which hold numbers with .x.

- Number Variables, which hold numbers

- Bool Variables, which hold 2 different values, true or false.

- Strings Variables, which hold text.

- Character Variables, which hold a single character.

- Byte Variables, which hold bytes.

new Float:x = 1.3
new x = 0
new bool:x = false
new x[3] = "idk"
new x = 'A'
new x = (1<<4)
